Remembrance Sunday – Today we salute our Heroes

Remembrance Sunday – Today we salute our Heroes

Today is Remembrance Sunday this is what we call it in the UK, it is always held on the second Sunday of November closest to Armistice Day which is the Anniversary that ended the First World War on 11/11/18 at 11am.

I know that tomorrow it is known as Veterans Day in the USA & Remembrance Day in Canada, however we remember today the Heroes who have been lost over the years fighting the wars, so that we can have FREEDOM!

We wear a Poppy here in the UK to show our support to the fallen Heroes and at 11am this morning the country shall fall into silence to show our respect.
