Thanks for stopping by and checking out this post, for those who have been in the industry might remember that RobbiesBlog.com went offline in 2017 and we tried to reinvent ourselves as RegisterADot.com, however in 2018 we stopped blogging completely for personal reasons as I still hold a full-time job and have two young children juggling both and trying to fit in the blog just wasn’t working…
I have seen many other popular domain blogs disappear or stop posting and I really didn’t want to be another forgotten blog, having started domaining back in 2006 and then RobbiesBlog.com in 2011 we had lots of great posts and interviews that I felt should be back online, we turned the site back on in May 2019 and already starting to see the rankings return from the old posts. Francois kindly added us back to the feed for Domaining.com and I want to let everyone know that the blog is back up and running but I also want to ask what do you want to see on RobbiesBlog.com?
Please leave a comment and let me know if you recall any of the old features we used to do like the interview of popular domainers, Throw Back features, Weekly domain sales etc and would like them started again or if you think we should be reporting/writing on a certain topic then please let me know.
I will try to post frequently but it won’t always be daily however where possible I will try and keep the content coming at least three or four times per week.
You can follow us still on Twitter @RobbiesBlog.com we also are rebuilding our facebook page and have a new handle there FB.com/RobbieBlog please follow and like our page if you have a moment.
If anyone needs to reach me on email feel free to contact me via the details on the contact us page.
Thanks once again for all your support and comments in advance and I look forwarding to interacting with you all in the future on RobbiesBlog.com
Nobody really knew you were gone.
Only reason people come to your site is thru domaining.com
Sorry, but it’s the truth.
You need to provide what others don’t if u want to stand out from the crowd.
Goto Namepros and see which topics are most popular for the day and write about that daily.
Anyways best of luck.
Thanks for your comment, I appreciate your feedback, we did used to get a fair bit traffic from Google too back in the day but I would agree for domain related posts naturally domaining.com generated a lot of traffic for us.
Glad to have you back, I used to really enjoy the interviews you completed in the past with Mike Mann, Darren Cleveland, Monte Cahn, Braden Pollock, Craig Rowe, Xavier Buck, Jodi Chamberlain, Fred Mercaldo, Tommy Butler, Michael Castello, Rob Grant, Tom Chapman, Ira Zoot, Victor Pitts, Shane Cultra, Nico Zeifang , Chris from AntiCareer.com, Eric Borgos, Jacob Fedosky, Brett Lewis, David Carter, Mike “Zappy” Zapolin, Ted Olson, Kevin Ohasi, Morgan Linton.
I know most of these were in the early days of your blog back in 2012, definitely worth your readers checking them out.
I don’t agree with the comment above that nobody read your blog, I think the downfall you had was the NamePros daily links. People prefer content instead of just links to the forums that you used to do back on here and RegisterADot
All the best and I hope you can produce some great content again.
Thanks Eric, I think you named just about every interview we done in the past except a few with the likes of Rick Schwartz and others – https://www.robbiesblog.com/interview-with-rick-schwartz/1113
I will post a page up of the old interview links in the coming days to share as suggested.
