Plural vs Singular Domain Names

So there is a thread running just now over at NamePros.com where the question has been asked Plural vs Singular domain names?

An example given was Tropical Forest or Tropical Forests which is the better domain name, what the original poster states later on that he is trying to understand why Mike Mann of DomainMarket.com dropped the singular and kept the plural domain name when he owned both?

Now I don’t know if Mike has a particular strategy or metric around why this was dropped, it could have simply been it didn’t auto-renew for some reason and likewise, the plural might have auto-renew when it wasn’t meant to but this post has 38 replies, what is your opinion?

Head on over to NamePros and join in … Click here to visit the thread.
