Legendary domain name investor Ammar Kubba wins WIPO against Foundations Worldwide, Inc.
Ammar has a great portfolio of domain names and founded and led many businesses in the domain name industry through his company Thought Convergence you can learn more about Ammar from his personal blog on AfterThought.com.
Within Ammar’s portfolio, he owns the domain name Gaggle.com and it looks like Foundations Worldwide Inc thought they could try and attempt to steal it from Ammar with a WIPO case, Foundations Worldwide Inc themselves have a great exact match domain name Foundations.com it’s a shame they choose to go down this route in WIPO Case D2023-0545.
The three-member panel found in favor of Ammar and rightly so… The transcript is still being released but I wanted to share this fantastic news that Ammar won his case the WIPO was denied!
Let’s hope for an RDNH finding too!
Foundations Worldwide Inc appears to promote a brand known as Gaggle and I am guessing this is why they thought there were entitled to the domain name but they were wrong and the WIPO panel rightly denied them the Gaggle.com domain name, let’s hope they now pony up and offer to buy the domain name at a fair price should Ammar choose to sell to them or not…
Congratulations to Ammar, who also has a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles!
