Swetha has just replied to my post on NamePros about the sale of Byte.xyz being canceled, she shared a screenshot from Afternic which you can see below, Afternic was unable to verify the funds from the seller.

It was unusual to actually see Afternic tweet about the sale of Byte.xyz ahead of Swetha announcing it herself on Twitter last week and now it looks as though it’s not closed.

Swetha left a comment in the NamePros thread “Byte.xyz sale was canceled after 10 days. Due to the lock, I was not able to transfer it till now. I would like to know the reason from the buyer if they wanted to share their version.”

I am not sure if the lock had any issues in the sale, she did tweet about this originally as it was moving from GoDaddy to Dynadot.

It’s a real shame for Swetha, and I think it shows her honesty in coming out and publicly letting everyone know that the sale didn’t complete for what was an amazing six-figure.XYZ price of $129,888 USD.
